Vermont pop weirdos Blanche Blanche Blanche, after following the Guided By Voices method of unloading heaping quantities of music on the world, broke through the inertia with their Night People released LP Wink With Both Eyes at the end of 2012. The group will kick off their 2013 offerings with the Wooden Ball LP, which is set to be released March 5th from NNA Tapes. Listen below to the quirky, off kilter “Rich Man” to get a taste of the bands eclectic spin on pop music. Beeps and hisses jump from behind every corner, and the melody is twisted in so many knots that you’ll need call the neighborhood boy scout to get it untangled in your brain.
