The Hecks “Trust and Order”
Their is a casual dissonance to the music of The Hecks, a Chicago duo who recently released a 7″ on the excellent Moniker Records. Their music is filled with angular, jagged edges, reminiscent of the great work by bands like the UV Race, creating songs that are challenging and unique without being opaque or unnecessarily obtuse. Listen below to the noisy, mid-tempo garage punk of “Trust and Order” from the aforementioned 7″ and catch the band tonight at the Kitty Cat Klub. If you can’t make the show, grab the 7″ from the Moniker Records website.
