Low “So Blue”
After a detour with the more noisy/raucous Retribution Gospel Choir LP III, Duluth slowcore heroes Low are back with their latest LP on Sub Pop. The Invisible Way dropped this last week, and the band are celebrating in St. Paul tonight for a show at the Fitzgerald Theater. After the rather sprite, acoustic driven lead single “Just Make It Stop,” Low mellowed slightly with the harmonious, organ driven track “So Blue,” which features the brittle vocals of Mimi front and center. The band are always captivating live, and the Fitzgerald Theater should capture their quiet intensity perfectly. If you can’t make the show tonight, pick up the new LP from the Sub Pop website.
