Video: SIFU HOTMAN “Outnumbered, Outgunned, Outmaneuvered and Winning”
Anytime there is new Guante material, it is good news. His latest project is called SIFU HOTMAN and is a group featuring Dem Atlas and producer Rube, two artists who I hadn’t heard before this venture. Over a slinky, funk driven beat, Guante’s clenched-fist rhymes mesh with Dem Atlas’s smooth flow to create a great opening salvo for the group. “Outnumbered, Outgunned, Outmaneuvered and Winning” walks the line between crackling social commentary and a jam to get the party started, finding the best of both worlds. Rube’s beat on the track is especially impressive, sounding lush and full without making it too sugary, leaving plenty of room for these two talented MC’s to work their craft.
