Rapper Hooks: “21 Grams” (Feat. P.O.S) “
Local artist Rapper Hooks has a record coming out this Summer with a whole bunch of names attached that are sure to capture some attention. Not only does his forthcoming debut, All Black Jesus, contain a guest appearance from P.O.S, it also features a veritable who’s who of up and coming local producers (Big Cats!, 1990, Amanti, Sean Anonymous, Dimitri Killstorm, 2% Muck, Noam The Drummer, and Afrokeys), and last but not least it’s being put out by 2 Dope Boyz (whom I thought were a music blog but apparently are also a label). Any way, you can stream the first single “21 Grams” below, which was produced by Big Cats! and features the aforementioned POS guest spot. Keep an ear out – the album comes out on July 23rd.
