Superchunk “Children In Heat” (Misfits Cover) + Merge Records 25th Anniversary
Merge Records has big plans for year 25 in 2014 (even though I swear Merge XX wasn’t really 5 years ago) and they’re announcing it on the perfect day for a Misfits cover. As part of a year long celebration, the label plans a bi-monthly mailing of 2 exclusive 7″ records featuring all your favorite Merge artists like The Mountain Goats, King Khan, Lambchop and more. While the Superchunk song isn’t going to be a 7″, you can get a download with the pre-order of the box set so you can impress your friends and the neighborhood children trick-or-treating tonight. I’m guessing this isn’t going to last long even at the $125 price so act fast.
