(Exclusive Premier) Stream: Buildings “It Doesn’t Matter” EP + Release Show Friday
Local noisy punk trio Buildings have been keeping fairly busy since their excellent 2011 LP Melt, Cry, Sleep with their extensive touring and a smattering of 7’s, but we are excited for a slightly more substantial overture from the group their new EP It Doesn’t Matter. After some musical chairs, the group is now Brian Lake out front on guitar, Joe Clark on bass, and Travis Kuhlman on drums. We’ve got an exclusive stream of their EP below, and you can hear that despite lineup changes and time, the band still pummel forward with the kind of barely controlled chaos that garners them comparisons to the AmRep glory days.
Soak in the new record below and pre-order the limited edition (500) clear vinyl EP HERE or grab it around town when it drops on May 14 on Riot House Records.
The band will celebrate the new release tomorrow night (Friday, April 18) at their joint EP release show with Porcupine, who are highlighting their new I See Sound EP. More info and tickets HERE.
