Guante let up-and-coming Minneapolis producer Blamsiss take a run at his Dungeons mixtape track “Knock,” which you can hear below. The beat is smooth and subtle, with a gargling guitar line going toe-to-toe with a dusty drum beat, and it adds a cerebral mood to Guante’s searing lyrics highlighting the very real difference between “difference between tragedy and injustice.” A powerful track taken to another level by a producer who, based on my first time hearing, has a bright future.
