The Petticoats: Normal 7″
Stef Petticoat was a one woman force of nature who in the late seventies/early eighties formed the band The Petticoats. The band consisted of Petticoat on vocals, guitar, bass, and drums. Petticoat’s 1980 debut 7” Normal is considered a punk/DIY classic, and it is the sole Petticoats’ recording that is widely available today. And by widely available I mean there is a handful of copies of the Bla Bla Records original floating around in the ether. Recently, M’Lady Records was given the opportunity to sell the final copies of the record remaining (according to Petticoat herself) as part of the label’s 7th Anniversary celebration.
