deM atlaS “All We Got”
This song has been floating around for a while, and I’ve enjoyed it when I’ve heard it here and there, but it really came to life seeing DeM atlaS performing it during his solo set before he took part in the Sifu Hotman set at the trio’s release show at Intermedia Arts on Friday. The song has a powerful, infectious spirit that seems to transcend hip-hop, and live it had a radiance and energy that has made me come back to the track with a whole new perspective. It sounds like a deM atlaS will drop his official Rhymesayers debut later this year, which I am sure will make some pretty major waves….we’ll keep you up to date as we hear more.
