With LCD Soundsystem put to bed, Juan Maclean may hold the spot as top dog on DFA (although Holy Ghost! may put up a fight). The latest album from the throwback electro artist, In a Dream, is chalk full of disco-flavored, lushly produced, Nancy Whang assisted dance floor gems. You can get the flavor of how great the whole LP is from the three songs above & below, but it may be the most confident, fully-realized work from the group yet, and a record that shows DFA still has the goods.
