Video: Flying Lotus “Never Catch Me” feat. Kendrick Lamar (Show 10/25)
Flying Lotus is one of the most inventive and forward-thinking producers in the rap game, to the point where I’m not even sure he is part of the “rap game.” With his well-desereved stature, any new material he releases is met with high anticipation, and his forthcoming LP You’re Dead is reaching a crescendo ahead of its release date next week. Showing he still has one foot on the ground with the hip hop world, his new album features multiple guest spots from prominent rappers, including one of the very best going right now, Kendrick Lamar. Above, you can watch the video for the song “Never Catch Me” that features Lamar throughout the whole track. It is the rare video that takes a great song and adds another dimension to the story, somehow making it even better.
