Broken Rope: “Definition of a Rap Flow”
Recently R.A. The Rugged Man website ratheruggedman.net sponsored a contest in which entrants could record an original rap set to the instrumentals from RA The Rugged Man’s “Definiton Of A Rap Flow.” There have been many entries but surely one of the best has to be from local rapper Broken Rope’s rendition, which is available to stream below. The St. Paul rapper/spoken word artist spits at a furious cadence – touching on everything from the Freestyle Fellowship to your grandma’s attic. Unfortunately BR didn’t win (you can stream the winner’s versions here) but it’s still a great listen.
