Dick Diver “Tearing the Posters Down”
Aussie jangle pop hustlers Dick Diver have given us a second taste from their forthcoming Melbourne, Florida LP. Following the austere “Waste the Alphabet,” the group are highlighting the spry, poppy “Tearing the Posters Down.” It has bright chords and a playful melody, and shows that jangle pop doesn’t have to be just for the sad suckers listening in their headphones. Melbourne, Florida drops on March 10th on the great Trouble In Mind label out of Chicago, and it should be a doozy.
