Listen to wonked out house music from Beat Detectives forthcoming NNF LP
We are big fans of the tweaked-out, gutter-infused dance music created by the (mostly) local Beat Detectives crew, who have released tapes over the last few years on some of the very best labels in the world (Moon Glyph, Night People, 1080p, 100% Silk, etc). For their forthcoming Climate Change LP, the group are joining forces with the always outstanding Not Not Fun label, and will be releasing the record at the end of June. You can listen below to the wobbly “Somethin’s Ripping,” which features the groups trademark vision of glimmering electronic music that could get you to the dance floor, but is more likely to be found in a grimy alleyway behind a run-down and decadent club on a Saturday night.
