Soak up the cosmic electric grooves of new MJMJ Records CS from Discoverer (Show Tonight!)
Discoverer is one of the multiple nom de plumes of Kansas City based producer Brandon Knocke, and this particular project will be represented tonight at a show in Minneapolis celebrating a new tape from local weirdo kingpins MJMJ Records. The CS, titled In Collection, is half new material and half B-sides from other releases. It ranges from cerebral, downbeat electronic soundscapes to dusty mid-tempo house grooves to spacey, hypnotic dance music. It is a diverse yet concise collection, and a great introduction to his music.
