Introducing: Instrumental electronic trio Surgery at the Hands of Machines (EP Release Show Tonight!)
Above you can dig the sound of local electronic instrumental trio Surgery at the Hands of Machines (say that three times fast..) from local legends UnderCurrentMPLS Youtube page. The band play heady, spaced-out instrumental music that gently meanders without falling too far off of the tracks. The electronics, led by lush synths, weave in and out of patterns with the noodling guitar work, all locked in behind some trip-hop drumming. I’m not sure what other iterations the band take with their sound, as their bandcamp page is down and I can’t dive into their EP.
