Stream outtakes from local garage pop trio Daisy Chains “lost studio session”
Daisy Chains came to our attention recently via their participation in a great 4-way split release from Guilt Ridden Pop. Now the band have released three frazzled, beat up pop songs from a “lost studio session” on their bandcamp page. Ranging from lanky almost-ballads to angular post-punk-pop, the songs have the right combination of melodic polish mixed with a snarky grin showcasing that they realize that the key to a good pop song is a bit of spit shine and attitude. The three songs give us more reason to hope for a full release from the band, so hopefully they will have a studio session soon that isn’t “lost.” The band play around town all of the time, so if you want to check out them in the flesh, just keep your eyes peeled.
