Introducing: The dark, demented punk of Shadow in the Cracks (2/3 of The Blind Shake)

The Blind Shake are no wilting flowers, so it would be silly to expect anything less than a chaotic fury when 2/3 of the group join together for a side project. Local fans have been able to soak in the mayhem that the brothers Blaha have been concocting over the last year as Shadow in the Cracks, and now everyone can partake. Listen below to the delicious slice of noise-punk that is “Timeless.” Dirty guitars soaked in fuzz and phasers, a possessed drum beat with a tambourine for a pulse and Ozzy-esqe vocals create a song that nicely sums up the glory their outstanding debut LP, which is out now on Goner Records. Whether you’re a fan of The Blind Shake (side note: you should be) or not, this is a must have.
