Introducing: The grunge of Autumn Kid & the shimmering electronic pop of Good Night Gold Dust (EP releases shows for each TONIGHT!)
Two local bands will (separately) be celebrating the release of their debut EPs tonight (Friday Nov 20th).
On the grunge-y side of the equation are Autumn Kid, who mine 90’s guitar-centric rock and roll on their spirited Lullabies EP. You can listen to the moody, four-song EP below. Their release show is happening tonight w/ Ego Death, Daylily, and What Tyrants. Details/RSVP HERE.
On the more shimmering electronic side of the equation are Mankato band Good Night Gold Dust, who are releasing their debut, self-titled five song EP. The songs lean on a polished electronic songwriting formula, and sound like they are aiming to fill arenas with their initial recordings. No ragged demos with this one. You can hear their glossy pop music below, and if you dig it you attend their release show at the Triple Rock tonight with OSO (whose new song we just debuted) and Bora York. Info/RSVP HERE.
Check out both bands and, if you like, buy their music and go see them live — support local music!
