Exclusive Stream: Father You See Queen’s Self-Titled LP
Father You See Queen are a local duo who create heavy, atmospheric, minimalist electronic pop. They’ve been hustling around the local scene for years (see our coverage HERE), and now they are celebrating their latest effort, a self-titled LP which Reviler is (exclusively) streaming for the next few days. The record is nine songs of haunted pop music, with Mark “Makr” McGee crafting skeletal beats with Nicole “Mona” Tollefson ethereal’s vocal binding together the songs together with the most brittle and delicate of glue. Even the song titles are minimal, with a single name attached to each track. The music is perfect for your headphones as the weather turns from fall to winter, a blend of hypnotic darkness that soaks into your bones. Dive into the record below and, if you like it, support local music by purchasing either the vinyl or digital download when it drops later this week.
Father You See Queen is out on iTunes digitally 11/27 and can be preordered here. LP available now on Blood Of The Young.
