Introducing: Angular post-punk band Deleter (Release Show Friday AND Sunday!)
Deleter are a local group that make snarled lip, almost new-wave post-punk, which you can sample below off their forthcoming new LP Oblique Season. Their new album is coming out on CD/Digital on Land Ski Records, and vinyl with 25 Diamonds. With two tables, that means two records release parties, right? Right! You can catch the band with Ripper, Murder Shoes and Cherry Cola tonight at the Triple Rock Social Club to celebrate the Land Ski Records portion of the equation. Then, you can catch them with a host of bands Sunday night at the Nicollet for the 25 Diamonds Record Release Extravaganza (lots of bands, artists, etc). But first, sample a couple of dark and hypnotic tracks from Deleter, and if you like what you hear, check out a shitload of local music this weekend.
