Wrekmeister Harmonies mastermind JR Robinson has produced a number of acclaimed records over the years with his project and various collaborators but Night Of Your Ascension takes things to an epic level, uniting 30 musicians to create his masterwork. Members of The Body, Einsturzende Neubauten, Cave, Come and more were joined into a giant opus over the last year. The result of this is a soaring epic made up of two pieces, ranging from long Baroque inspired vocal and string arrangements slowly twisting themselves into black metal epics. After touring solo with Slint last year, this tour promises Robinson backed by Bell Witch and a violin player so expect a heavy interpretation of the record live.
