X-Files related video series from outstanding downtempo house Palmbomen II s/t LP
Palmbomen II released a self-titled LP on Beats in Space/RVNG INTL earlier this year, with each track named after an X-Files character. The LP is one of my favorite albums of the year, a subtle exploration of downtempo house music. It is a record I’ve found myself lost inside of dozens of times over the last half-year, and now I’ve discovered that their have been trippy music videos made to accompany a bunch of the tracks. The latest is for “John Lee Roche,” which you can watch/listen to on top, and the other three from the series are directly below it.
