Stream Bae Tigre’s latest LP (UnderCurrentMPLS NYE show TONIGHT!)
Local artist Ranelle Johnson uses the nom de plume Bae Tigre to make her smart, symphonic bedroom pop. Mixing classical elements with a brittle, humming electronica, it is a great combination of art and science, with razor sharp melodies and arrangements meshing with fuzzy edged production. It may have been made in a bedroom, but it is much bigger. Listen to her latest record, Perennial Bygones, from earlier this year, below.
