“Noche Gitana” Show to be Performed at Cedar
I love Flamenco. The passion, the rhythms, the crazed but incredibly precise guitar work. It’s amazing. And while the genre is best experienced in a smoky hideaway in the hills of Southern Spain, luckily we can still experience it right here in the Twin Cities. In fact we’re fortunate to have a vibrant Flamenco community.
This Sunday the Cedar Cultural Center will be playing host to some of the most talented artists that the Cities have to offer – including Daniel and Adrian Volovets, as well as Sachiko Nishiuchi. Noche Gitana (Gypsy Night) will also feature renowned guest artists from Sevilla, Javier Heredia and La Rhina. The whole thing is being organized by the newly formed Twin Cities Flamenco Artists Co-op. It should be an amazing night of music for anyone with an inclination for Flamenco, or anyone just looking to hear something new.
