Support The Cedar Cultural Center by Contacting Your Legislators!
If you love the Cedar Cultural Center as much as we do (some of our coverage HERE), now is your chance to help out one of the very best music venues in our community. They are asking for support from our elected officials for renovations on their space, and those elected officials need to hear about how important the Cedar is to us so this funding can get passed. Join us in helping out The Cedar so we can have many more decades of great live music.
Follow the steps below to help out:
— Identify your State Representative and your State Senator. You can find their contact information HERE (Please contact only YOUR state senator and state representative)
— Call or email both your State Representative and State Senator to urge their support of the Cedar request. You might say something like this: “Please support The Cedar Cultural Center’s bonding request. The Cedar is more than a music venue; it facilitates intercultural appreciation and is an important community asset that should be preserved and sustained.” Include additional comments on why you support the Cedar and why you believe this renovation project is important.
