Sample orchestrated indie pop off latest Plants and Animals LP (MPLS Show TONIGHT!)
While I lost track of then for a bit for LPs 2 and 3, Plants and Animals will always hold a special place in my heart because of my connection to their debut LP Parc Avenue. The group are back with LP4, titled Waltzed in from the Rumbling, and they haven’t lost their touch. You can sample above and below the band’s tightly wound, expansive and melodic take on indie folk. Like the best work of their past, the songs are lush without being mushy, deep without losing their spirit.
