Listen to the Synth Heavy Return of Milemarker (Show Tonight!)
It’s been 11 years since we last received a new record from 90s/00s synthy post-punk band Milemarker (and 11 years since they last played the Triple Rock). Founders Al Burian and Dave Laney have since both moved to Germany and while the band never really officially broke up, there hasn’t been much from them since. Luckily for us, Al and Dave have recruited a new band, recorded a new record and have kicked off a new US tour as well as a new reissue of the band’s Frigid Forms Sell record. “Conditional Love” is the first track off the soon to be released Overseas album which plays off the bands synthier leanings and almost gives me a bit of vocoder era Trans Am memories. The full length drops on the 26th of this month and since the band is based out of Germany, you might not get to see this anytime soon again so tonight is a can’t miss.
