Soak in the ambient electronic from Kranky artists High Plains and Anjou (show TONIGHT at Icehouse)
Kranky Records are always a safe barometer for good electronic music, so I didn’t need to know anything about High Plains and Anjou to know that they weren’t going to be putting out any garbage other than that they had the Kranky stamp of approval. A couple samples below showcase this to be true, as the groups float through spacey, hypnotic ambient music. The two groups will be joined by H.E.Z.(Holly Hansen, formerly of Zoo Animal) and DJ Soft Abuse for a Minneapolis show tonight (5/17) at Icehouse. More info and RSVP HERE.
