Introducing: The mellow psych-pop of Ghostmouth (Release show TONIGHT!)
On the new LP Glow, local group Ghostmouth make music the melds plaintive songwriting and mellow pyscedelica that sounds like an emo take of Galaxie 500. Lots of bright acoustic guitars parts, dusty drums, lush melodies and plaintive vocals. There is even some harmonica and organ tones. Overall it is a warm blanket of an album for a fall that has already proven to be cold and bleak. You can listen to and purchase the album below via the band’s bandcamp page.
You can check out Ghostmouth’s release show tonight at the Triple Rock Social Club with help from Flavor Crystals, Good Doom and Panther Ray. 18+ and it will cost you $5. Music starts right at 9pm, so don’t be late. RSVP to the Facebook invite HERE.
