After a bit of a break, the (now) duo Ed Schrader’s Music Beat have come storming back with a new LP titled Riddles that captures the band’s boisterous take on fractured post-punk. Joined by fellow Baltimore musical institution Dan Deacon, the album finds them exploring even more corners of their sound, creating an album that is somehow both brittle and muscular.
