After a couple of excellent EPs over the last couple of years, Australian band Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever made their excellent full-length debut Hope Downs on Sub Pop this summer. Showcasing the band’s three guitar melodies and three singers, “Time in Common” shows the band traveling from show to show in beautiful black and white with plenty of shots of the band enjoying some football (the American one) in their downtime. Hope Downs has been finding itself on many best-of-the-year lists (including our half year one), so especially if you missed them at the Entry earlier this year (we didn’t), now is your chance to catch them before they get huge.
