Local punks Sweet JAP are back with their first new LP in 15 years(!), a collection of previously unreleased burners called Be My Venus. The band, who broke up in 2004 after storming the local scene only a few years earlier, are celebrating the release of their new LP with a reunion + LP release show this Saturday (9/22) at the Turf Club with an outstanding set of openers sharing the stage with them. Scrunchies, Murf and Marijuana Deathsquads will set the stage for the long-awaited return of Sweet JAP to the local stage.
