Noname Follows Successful 2018 By Dropping Outstanding “Song 31” on New Years Day 2019 (MPLS Show 1/25!)
Noname’s Room 25 was easily one of my favorite records of 2018, and the Chicago MC didn’t waste any time keeping her momentum going in the first week of 2019. On New Years Day she released the sharp, slinky “Song 31,” which you can listen to above. It would have fit in with the smart-and-funky sound that made Room 25 so good.
There was too long of a wait between her Telefone mixtape and Room 25, so hopefully “Song 31” means we won’t have to wait long for even more material following the sugar high of Room 25.
