Introducing: Kojitree
Kojitree is a local experimental artist who creates off-kilter synthpop jams that walk a fine line between pop and eclecticism. In Kojitree’s music they often utilize kind of a throwback vintage palette that shares some similarities with music from early video games (think Ecco the Dolphin, Sonic, etc).
The melodies Kojitree produces are catchy earworms that they further diversify with live drumming and pitch-modulated vocals that range from very high squeaks to deep and sluggish lows. They have a single self-titled EP available now for streaming and it’s definitely worth checking out (below).
