Check Out the Quirky Garage Rock of Pottery’s “Lady Solinas” (Show Tonight)
Montreal quintet Pottery make garage rock with a sharp Devo and Orange Juice inspired twist. In their 2nd single “Lady Solinas”, the band offers a satirical take on Andy Warhol’s shooter Valerie Solanas in a song exploring “the power of passion in artists and its effect on their mental condition”. Pottery’s debut EP No.1 drops May 10th and if the first two singles are any indication will be a solid record.
