Video: Wu-Lu: “Save Us From Ourselves”
London producer Wu-Lu recently released a new EP S.U.F.O.S. (“Save us From Ourselves”) via The Vinyl Factory and it’s quickly become one of my favorite releases this year. Wu-Lu stirs up a very chill and very original brew of jazz, soul, hip-hop, and funk that also touches on elements of psychedelic rock. Think of J Dilla sans all the sampling. You can check out the video for the EP’s titular track above and keep track of the artist here. Hopefully he’ll tour stateside sometime in the near future.
