Video: The Comet Is Coming’s “Summon The Fire” / Show Sat
Trust in the Lifeforce of the Deep Mystery is the latest record from cosmic jazz (and Sun-Ra heirs apparent) trio The Comet is Coming. It’s rapidly ascended my list of favorite releases this year and single “Summon the Fire” undoubtedly tops my list of favorite 2019 songs. It’s a face-melting assault of spaced out synths, thundering drums, and saxophone skronk that must be heard to be believed. Check out the video above and catch the Brits this Saturday at the Turf Club which should be a righteous performance (tix/info).
