Buchanan is the lead singer of Cherry Death, a band of similar leanings who have made a big of splash in recent years. It’s a smart, melancholy batch of songs that have their head in the clouds and their feet on the front porch. It’s a great album of chilled-out songs that lean on rustic acoustic guitar jangle, vibrant slide guitar and weary melodies. It’s good stuff.
