Avant guitarist legend Bill Orcutt is back with a new studio LP, Odds Against Tomorrow, that he’ll release October 11th. You can listen to the deconstructed solo electric guitar of “The Sun & Its Horizon” below and pre-order the record, which promises some unfamiliar multi-track recordings to be mixed in with the usual sideways interpretations of standards and cross-eyed blues & folk experimentation. No news on tour dates, but I’m sure he’ll swing through Minnesota again soon behind his new LP.
