Video: Typsy Panthre’s “Bluebird Blues” / New Record This Fall
Local band Typsy Panthre recently celebrated a decade of making music together. The duo of Allison LaBonne and John Crozier formed in 2008 and has released work sporadically since under the Korda Records label. Their latest is a full length record entitle Hell which will officially be released on 11/11.
The first single from the album “Bluebird Blues” (and it’s accompanying video) are available for streaming today and you can do so above. The band describes the energy on the track as “Stereolab-meets-Wire” and you can definitely hear the comparison in the combination of LaBonne’s vocals over dense electronic atmosphere.
