Last Import: “Hollywood Forever”
Local surf punk trio Last Import really wowed us earlier this year with their self-titled release (stream here) which is shaping up to be one of the best local records of the year (in a year that has many great ones). They’ll be heading out on tour in a few weeks but will return for a triumphant home show at First Avenue on 12/31 (info/tix).
The band also recently released a raucous new single “Hollywood Forever” which you can stream below. The new tune tones down the surf elements a bit while dialing up a lot of forceful rock/pop energy. Should be a barn burner live!
