Listen to K.Raydio’s New ‘Beat Tape? Vol. 1’
Right before the holiday lull, local R&B artist K.Raydio dropped a new beat tape on her bandcamp page, which you can stream below. Well known for her enchanting singing and songwriting, she also is a talented maker of dusty, minimalist instrumentals. She noted on the release page that she created “at least 5 beats a week” and that as the year wrapped up she “picked my favorites and put them together on this tape.” It’s a mix I’ve been listening to late as night as I’ve been winding down, but it’s one of those mixes that works in multiple settings as it explores a variety of sounds and textures.
