Jimmy Claypool can’t book a bad show, apparently. Tomorrow is going to be lit, because an all-local bill of holy-hell metal will ring in the new year at the Turf Club. False are back from a European tour, fresh off the release of their latest LP Portent (one of Reviler’s featured Best of 2019); the Rope are ruling the black dance floor with tunes from their 2019 February release Lillian (another featured Best of 2019); Livid are still heavy; and Tvær are still evil.
