Adam J’s Best of 2020 (So Far) Playlist: First Quarter
Holy fucking hell and how-do-you-do – what a year we’re having, eh? With so much going wrong in the world, we here at Reviler would like to focus on a few of things that are going very right, namely the exceptional musical releases we’ve been seeing from a varied and diverse group of artists. So while we’re not going anywhere fast, please enjoy a sampling of the best of 2020 (so far)!
While I didn’t plan on it, this first quarterly playlist clocks in at a righteous 4 hours and 20 minutes. We’ve got plenty of jams herein from Clem Snide, Body Count, U.S. Girls, Huey Lewis & the News, the Homesick, and many others, including some great local sounds from New Primals and Heart Bones. I usually have a write-up or two to dress up my playlist submissions, but I am an “essential employee” in this time of crisis and therefore just don’t have the aloted time I require for composing my usual symposiums. April will no doubt see some fine musical releases, but maybe make this Best of First Quarter 2020 playlist your 4/20 soundtrack, whydontcha?
