LISTEN: Tokyo Pysch Wanders Kikagaku Moyo/幾何学模様 Release New Single as Part of Mexican Summer Label Looking Glass Series

The label Mexican Summer label has started a new Singles Series called “Looking Glass” that has bands making news songs, with the funds filtering straight back to the artist or a charity of their choice. Some of the artists who have already taken part include Connan Mockasin and Ariel Pink. I’m going to plan on lifting up a few of our favorites as the series continues. Today we are highlighting a new jam from Tokyo pysch band Kikagaku Moyo, who recorded the flowery “Ouchi Time” while in isolation.

As a note with the song, the band wrote:

“Ouchi Time means “time in the house.” It was a good challenge for us to do everything remotely. We had to learn how to let our mind escape to inner-galaxy, and secretly made strong connections with outer space”

Listen and purchase below and throw the band some money to support them during these challenging times. We’ll highlight another song from the series later in the week.
