Stream New Corrector Records Compilation Of Local Experiemental Musicians: “Murmuration”

Local independent record label Corrector Records recently put together a compilation that features some of the best and brightest local experimental artists in the scene today. The kicker is that it’s not just a comp of existing work – in putting together the project the label assigned the musicians into groups and tasked them each with collaborating (in most cases with artists they had never worked with before) to create something shared and totally new. The result is Murmuration, a collection of eight bold and expansive new tracks that includes work from some of our favorite talents as well as artists whose work we’re just now getting introduced to (and whom we’ll plan on checking out more of for sure).

The whole thing is fantastic! Lot’s of ambient, drone, minimalist techno, and even a dose of deconstructed pop. Highly recommended, especially for finding a little zen in your routine.
