Beach Mountain “Announce” New Music Pine Tar, Limited Analog Artifacts
While public appearances are infrequent, synthesizer/spiritual collective Beach Mountain seem to be staying busy with…whatever it is they aim to do. This preview video showed up in the inbox last night at 12:01 AM, apparently announcing new music from the group. From beyond the depths of Minneapolis, Beach Mountain have produced a full-length album of, frankly, beautiful and engaging electronic music.
While there are not yet physical copies of the album, Pine Tar, the group’s record label How A Member Of The Kingdom Of Heaven Might Appear are releasing 24 stamped and signed baseballs to commemorate the event.
Head to the group’s BandCamp page to order your Analog Artifact and download Pine Tar while public awareness is still low. There are only 24 baseballs “in this dimension” (Beach Mountain’s emphasis), and each one will be hand-delivered by a member of Beach Mountain on Sunday, July 11th.
While I’m apprehensive about their prerogative at this time, I’m excited to see what Beach Mountain has in store for this reality.
