Stream: Yummm – “For A Moment I Love You”
We’ve long been fans of (formerly) local artist Matt Bedrosian’s brand of dance pop music. Quite frankly, we could also use a pick me up these days. So we’re thrilled that Bedrosian recently released his latest work, a full length album entitled For a Moment I Love You (now under the name Yummm having moved on from P*PL).
Bedrosian’s latest material takes a familiar approach (ethereal, funky synthpop) and really dials up the sexiness aspect to extremes that range from tender to explicit. It’s a lot of fun and Bedrosian avoids the genre’s typical pratfalls by focusing the lyrics around some atypical themes. For instance playing with gender norm expectations and focusing on connections that go beyond (and sometimes leaving behind) romantic love.
